Founder

Keith Dodson

Keith Dodson started in Construction in 1975 and until 1982 was in a business partnership building
homes. In 1982 Keith started KW Dodson Construction where he built residential and commercial structures. In 2002 he partnered with Boyd Chatman and changed the company name to Dodson & Chatman Construction Inc. In 2003 Keith decided to retire and spent the next 10 years flying, racing & golfing. In 2014 Keith decided to come back to construction and changed the company name to Dodson & Company Construction, Inc. in 2018. Keith’s current roles include client acquisitions,
estimating & sales. Now 40 + years later Keith still enjoys the construction world, as well as spending time with his wife traveling, relaxing at the beach, and cooking. He also enjoys spending time with their 6 children and 8 grandchildren.

Preston Massey

Preston Massey became part of Dodson & Company Construction, Inc again in April 2018 and is operating as the construction manager. Preston started out working in the construction industry as a laborer in 2002 with Dodson & Company Construction, Inc. He has worked in the industry since then holding positions from field laborer, foreman, superintendent, estimator, project manager, and construction manager. His current responsibilities include estimating, sales,  new client acquisition, managing existing client relationships, and overseeing all construction projects from start to finish. His hobbies include duck hunting, inshore fishing, and spending time with those who mean the most to him. He especially enjoys the time spent with his wife, daughter, and their animals.

Russell Mansfield

Russell Mansfield has been a part of Dodson & Company Construction, Inc. team since August 2002. The knowledge he has gained during these years of experience has enabled him to work closely with customers in developing building and space designs that not only meet the customer’s needs and expectations but remains within their constraints and parameters. As well as staying within the customer’s parameters, designs must meet the requirements of the building code and ordinances within the jurisdiction. Throughout the years he has gained extensive knowledge of the building code requirements and permitting process which enables Dodson & Company Construction, Inc to produce designs that meet the requirements of the building code and that exceed the needs and expectations of “You” the customer. On his days off Russell enjoys spending time with his wife and their 2 dogs.
